About

If you’re like most people we know, you’ve already tried or are trying to overcome grief, loss or trauma on your own. You want to be free of the pain and suffering - lifting the weight off your shoulders. All while smiling again and looking forward to your future free of your issues.

But with the overwhelming emotions in the picture - it’s not easy.

Resolving grief, loss, and trauma can be hard to do - especially on your own. There are so many different moving pieces and physical, cognitive, emotional, and behavioural issues can stem from your issues:

  • Sadness, anger, denial, emptiness, helplessness, apathy and numbness
  • Wishing to join the loved one who has passed/gone
  • Anxiety and depression
  • Not wanting to let go of an ex-partner after a relationship breakdown, heartbreak
  • Loss of interest in dating/forming new relationships
  • Changes in appetite and sleep
  • Lack of energy and motivation
  • Heaviness in chest and heart
  • Difficulty in concentrating, disbelief, and confusion
  • Dreams of the loved one who has passed and yearning for them
  • Socially withdrawn, loss of interest in activities and life in general, lack of purpose
  • Using drugs and alcohol to suppress the pain and emotions
  • Questioning the meaning of life and asking ‘Why?’
  • And more

There’s a lot that is swamping our potential. It can feel like there is no hope for your future while there is so much we need to get a handle on. How do we turn this all around?

Meet Louie

I've been there..

I have been through a lot of grief and loss and it stopped me from thriving for quite some time. My first major instance of loss was in my mid 20’s with my first major relationship breakdown - I was in a very dark place for over 18 months. Life passed me by while I was numb - filling my days with TV, junk food, and drinking. Then, my second major relationship breakdown occurred 6 years later. For the first 6 months of this heartache, I would dream every night that my ex-partner and I were together - just to wake up again each day with the crushing reality of her not laying in bed beside me dawning on me within seconds of waking. I was afraid of going to sleep every night as I knew the dreams would return. Again, I turned to the bottle to numb the pain but ultimately, it just made things worse.

Though I’d started learning the skills (NLP, EMDR etc) related to my therapy career, I had way too many years of wondering what was wrong with me and why do I suffer so much with grief and loss. Thinking that maybe I was smart, but not being able to consistently prove it in a way that mattered. Numbing my pain. Faking my smile. Talking my way out of missed deadlines and social invites. The tipping point came when I went through 5 deaths in the space of a year (3 family members and 2 very close friends). I focused all my efforts on understanding the effects of grief and loss and more importantly on how to be free of them. More specifically I am someone who sparks change in people’s lives.

My pain became my inspiration

Now I have a different story. Despite my early struggles, these days I think of my past pain as my greatest teacher. I conquered this inevitable part of life and have come to understand that even though the pain is inevitable, suffering is OPTIONAL.

Through many years of study, I’ve modeled a rapid-change system to resolve grief and loss fast and for good. This, combined with my past, makes me better at my profession as a specialised grief, loss, and trauma therapist. More practical and empathetic. Since I understand grief and loss at a deep level, I know what works and what doesn’t.

Can we help you resolve your grief and loss, too?

We have a driving belief that people who suffer from grief and loss are not broken. They just need some help with it as they feel emotions so deeply that it can be difficult to resolve them. Yet, until we get the help we need, our mind, body and soul will remain buried and overwhelmed. We pride ourselves on shaking things up. We’re not like any other psychology practice or mental health organisation. We know that old methods need to change if we’re going to break the stigma of getting health, and we want to be that change.

Now, we spend the majority of our time working with people who are dealing with overwhelming grief, loss, and trauma of all types. Helping them resolve their emotions so they can live the life they deserve through my highly specliased techniques and processes. This type of rewarding work is my life’s calling and my team and I hope you’ll join my countless other clients in turning grief to relief.

We operate in person in Sydney, Australia and online via Zoom, WhatsApp and Skype.
